A: No. We provide all the equipment you need to get started. You just bring a smile and willingness to learn.

A: Yes. We suggest you sign up for a group lesson or check out the extended surf camps we offer. This is a great option for family vacations.

A: Absolutely. While there is an inherent risk with any activity, all of our instructors are certified in CPR and first aid and there is always an American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard present when students are in the water.

A: In order to receive a full refund for any cancellations or changes to your reservation you must notify the Los Angeles Surf Lessons office 72 hours or three days before the start of your lesson in writing to need email address (if you are taking a weekend lessons this is the Wednesday before starting your first lesson on Saturday). Voicemails or phone calls will not be accepted as a cancellation-no exceptions. Any changes made after the cutoff deadline will be charged a $25 reprocessing fee. Cancellations made 24 hours before the start of the lesson or no shows will not be issued a refund. You should plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early for your lesson and please account for traffic on the way over.

A: After you make your online reservation, you will receive an email confirmation with information about when and where to meet and a map to get there.
